I went shooting as soon as the snow stuck on Wednesday afternoon. I walked from my place in Glasnevin to the Phoenix park at an extremely slow pace! It took about two hours but I knew I needed some snow images for The Hole In The Wall and for myself!!
Every scene reminded me of Fargo and everyone I met on the way was so friendly. I took a few portraits of families playing in the snow and sent them onto them, as the one thing that will last long after the snow melts are the photographs! The snow seemed to bring the best out in people for now anyway..... A truly magical time in Dublin.
I also shot an entire roll of 35mm film which I CANNOT wait to get developed as soon as the snow clears!! But for now, the fire's lit and the wine's poured.
